OEKO-TEX CERTIFICATION

All our fabrics have OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification.

This means that our fabrics contain no materials that are harmful for the body and for health during the finishing process. This certification is given by an independent German organisation, which is often stricter than national laws in this industry area.

Oeko-tex standard 100 certification is a quality mark in the textile industry and becomes even more significant when it comes to the development of special fabric treatments:

  • treatments for making fabrics more resistant to crumpling (non-iron fabrics)
  • wash-out treatments for indigo-dyed fabrics (denims, etc.)

The use of chemical materials is abundant in the production of these fabrics and it is important to be vigilant about provenance and whether the manufacturer has received Oeko-tex certification.
